Augments

An Augment changes how the Assistant approaches a task. A Persona shapes style and identity; an Augment shapes the work.

Examples include:

  • Concise for shorter answers.
  • Code Reviewer for bugs, clarity, and edge cases.
  • Security Auditor for authentication, injection, and security risks.
  • Step by Step for numbered procedures.
  • Devil’s Advocate for deliberate pushback.
  • Super Voice Mode Help for questions about the app itself.

Open Dashboard → Augments to activate or deactivate them. Changes apply to the next Assistant turn.

The cleanest combination usually controls different dimensions. For example, Code Reviewer defines the domain while Concise defines the response shape.

Avoid two Augments that both control tone or format. They can compete and make the result less predictable.

Characters, Personas, and Augments share five slots. A Character normally uses two; each Persona or Augment uses one.

Enable Super Voice Mode Help when you want the Assistant to explain the app, its settings, or its behavior. It is most useful with an agent backend that can read the local help material. Turn it off when you return to other work so the slot remains available.

Augments are available during the trial and through Free’s weekly premium workflows. Pro Lifetime makes their use unlimited.

  • Combine one domain Augment with one format Augment.
  • Turn Devil’s Advocate on for a decision, then turn it off.
  • Use Concise for spoken replies that otherwise run too long.
  • Keep custom Augments short and behavioral; long background essays consume attention without reliably changing the result.
