Meetings and Notes
Meetings + Notes captures an in-person conversation, online call, or long train of thought and turns it into a local transcript and structured notes.
Start and finish a meeting
Section titled “Start and finish a meeting”Start from Dashboard → Meetings + Notes or press the Meetings hotkey. The default shortcut is Option + M.
Press the hotkey again to pause and choose whether to finish or continue. When you finish, Super Voice Mode completes the transcript and generates notes on your Mac.
What a saved meeting contains
Section titled “What a saved meeting contains”- A title you can change.
- A time-ordered, speaker-attributed transcript.
- Structured notes with a summary, decisions, and action items.
- Speaker labels you can review and rename.
- Optional snapshots created during the workflow.
Open Dashboard → Meetings + Notes → Library to browse, search, edit, export, or review speakers.
Storage and privacy
Section titled “Storage and privacy”Transcription and note generation run on your Mac. Meeting audio is not retained after processing. Notes, transcripts, and snapshots are saved as ordinary files inside the local library you choose.
Treat saved meetings as sensitive. If you ask a cloud-backed Assistant to read one, the relevant content can be sent to that Assistant provider.
Usage limits
Section titled “Usage limits”Saved meetings stay available on every tier. Reading, editing, searching, exporting, reviewing speakers, and regenerating notes do not spend Pro uses.
Capture is unlimited during the trial and with Pro Lifetime. After the trial, starting a meeting uses 10 of the 50 shared weekly Pro uses. If fewer than 10 remain, capture does not start. A start that fails before capture begins uses nothing.
Ask an assistant about saved meetings
Section titled “Ask an assistant about saved meetings”When the Meetings toolset is enabled, a connected assistant can search saved meetings and read one meeting’s notes or transcript. These tools are read-only; rename and delete meetings in the Dashboard.
Pro tips
Section titled “Pro tips”- Run a short test before an important call so permissions and audio sources are ready.
- Review speaker labels before sharing or exporting notes.
- Use generated notes for decisions and action items; use the transcript when exact wording matters.
- Keep the meeting library in a location covered by your normal backup plan.
