Hotkeys

Super Voice Mode uses four independent global hotkeys. Open Settings → General → Hotkeys, then choose Configure… to change them.

Default: Right Option

Hold to record. Release to transcribe and paste into the focused app. Dictation is free.

Default: Shift + Right Option

Select text, hold the hotkey, describe the change, and release. Without a text selection, it applies the normal AI Correction flow to fresh dictation. AI Writing is free.

Default: Right Option + Right Command

Hold to record. Release to send the transcript to your selected assistant backend. The reply appears in Super Voice Mode and is spoken when Voice Output is enabled.

After the trial, Assistant turns use the shared weekly Pro allowance. Pro Lifetime is unlimited.

Default: Option + M

Press once to begin meeting capture. Press again to pause and choose whether to finish or continue. This is a press-once command, not a hold-to-record hotkey.

Starting a meeting uses 10 weekly Pro uses after the trial. Saved meetings remain available without spending uses.

You can start an Assistant turn from the normal Dictation hotkey by beginning with the configured trigger word. For example, if your trigger is “computer,” say “computer, summarize the selected paragraph.”

Use a trigger word for occasional Assistant turns. Use the dedicated Assistant hotkey when you talk to the Assistant frequently.

  1. Open Settings → Permissions.
  2. Confirm that Accessibility and Input Monitoring are granted.
  3. Check that another app has not claimed the same shortcut.
  4. Choose a different shortcut and test again.
  • Keep the Dictation hotkey on a key combination that other apps rarely use.
  • Avoid assigning the same keys to more than one Super Voice Mode action.
  • Keep the Meetings shortcut disabled if you prefer to start capture only from the Dashboard.
  • Use one Dictation hotkey plus a trigger word when you want fewer shortcuts to remember.
