Voice Mode is freemium. Dictation and on-device AI Correction are free forever. After the trial, the free tier also includes a weekly allowance of Pro uses. Paid Pro makes those Pro surfaces unlimited.

Free tier

• Dictation (push-to-talk, on-device speech-to-text)
• The Dictionary (built-in entries plus the user’s overlay)
• AI Correction — on-device LLM cleanup pass on dictation
• Highlight and correct — run the same correction pass on any selected text in any app
• 50 Pro uses each week after trial — shared across Assistant turns, MCP spoken replies, and Live Transcription sessions that commit output

Pro tier

Everything in Free, plus:

• Unlimited Assistant — voice-driven assistant with Claude, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Ollama, or local MLX backends; assistant hotkey and trigger-word routing
• Unlimited TTS — spoken replies for assistant turns and accepted MCP speak calls
• Unlimited Live Transcription — longer hands-free dictation with live subtitles and AI cleanup
• Personas and character voices — built-in and user-authored
• Augments — stackable behavior modifiers (see augments.md)

What counts as a Pro use

One Pro use is one user-visible premium workflow. Voice Mode counts:

• an Assistant turn when it is dispatched to a backend
• a Live Transcription session when it first commits transcript output
• an accepted MCP speak call from an external assistant

Voice Mode does not count short dictation, AI Correction, highlight-and-correct, replacements, voice previews, replay, or internal tool/model calls.
